Figure Beach has so far introduced themselves with light indie pop, but their next track, 'Beneath the Pines' shows a different side to the band. A song about reflecting on the joy of life and a fear of death, the track is just as melodic as songs previous, and true to their style, 'uncomplicated' and easily relatable. 'Beneath The Pines' reminds listeners of artists like The Kooks or Two Door Cinema Club.
